Terms of use
This English version is provided for convenience; only the French version is legally binding.
Purpose
These terms govern the use of the Champagne Jean-Paul Boulonnais website. By browsing the website, you accept them. The website’s publisher is identified in the legal notice.
Access to the website
The website presents alcoholic beverages: it is reserved for people of legal drinking age in their country, which every visitor confirms on arrival.
The website is free to access. The house does its best to keep it available but cannot guarantee it at all times: it may be interrupted, in particular for maintenance.
Order and visit requests
The website does not sell online. A request sent through the contact form, whether for an order or a visit, commits neither the visitor nor the house: the house answers it directly, and any sale is concluded with the house, outside the website.
The prices shown are those of the house’s price list: prices include VAT, ex-cellar. Shipping costs are added according to the carrier’s rates; payment is made with the order, with no discount for early payment.
Intellectual property
The texts, photographs, drawings, logos and trademarks shown on the website are protected. Any reproduction or reuse, in whole or in part, without the house’s written permission is prohibited, except for strictly private use.
The map of Vertus and the drawing of the vineyard plots are based on public data from IGN and the Etalab land register (Licence Ouverte 2.0), as stated in the legal notice.
Liability
The information on the website is given for guidance and may change: available wines, opening hours, visiting conditions. The house cannot be held liable for any error or omission, nor for any damage arising from the use of the website.
Links to other websites, such as mapping services, are provided for your convenience; the house is not responsible for their content.
Personal data and cookies
The processing of data sent through the contact form, audience measurement and the use of cookies are described on the Privacy and cookies page.
Alcohol consumption
L’abus d’alcool est dangereux pour la santé, à consommer avec modération. Alcohol abuse is dangerous for your health, drink responsibly.
Under French law, the sale of alcohol to minors is prohibited (article L. 3342-1 of the Public Health Code).
Governing law
These terms are governed by French law.
Failing an amicable settlement, any dispute falls within the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Châlons-en-Champagne, subject to the mandatory provisions protecting consumers.
